We bought our first house 🥹 It’s been a lon We bought our first house 🥹 It’s been a long time coming, after renting all over during medical training, from our first apartment in Boston, to our duplex in Dorchester, to all four condos in Miami, to our rental in San Diego, we’ve made them all home and they’ve served us so so well. But now, *home* home. We’ve got some renovations in mind before we move in, can’t wait to take you all along for the ride 💛
Save for this month - here are a few of our favori Save for this month - here are a few of our favorites 👇🏽 🎃@gofffamilypumpkinpatch - a tiny patch but packed with all you actually need, and best part is it’s right in the center of @libertystation with stores like @shoppigment, art and painting like at @thehotspotsandiego, all the eateries you could want @libertypublicmarket, and one of my favorites @gogoamigo.sd (their birria is my favorite)! 🎃@belmontparksd - right on the ocean, their fall festival is so fun (and kids get a free ride wristband with the purchase of an adult) - plus on sundays at 5pm it’s trick or treating time! With rides, games, rock climbing, and even swimming @plungesandiego! Grab dinner and watch sunset over the beach right at @cannonballsd or @draftsandiego 🎃 @sandiegozoo - HalGloween is so much fun - the zoo is already one of our favorite places (we’re members), but October is extra special (and kids get in free all month with an adult purchase)! With all of their favorite animals, bubble dance parties and glow party once sun sets, it’s so much fun! Plenty of places to eat in park (and even find frozen margaritas) but can always drive over to Little Italy for an incredible dinner too! 🎃 @fortcrossadventures in Julian, a little farther out but a really fun time to be had at their Autumn Jubilee. With tons of cute adventures, photo backdrops, animal encounters, a pumpkin patch, and crafts like painting and candle making the girls all requested to visit again this year! And in Julian you can’t miss picking up pies @momspiehouse! October is so much fun - not featured in this video but more fun include kids free at Legoland, SeaWorld, Birch Aquarium, museums (check out @gomuseums), and more!

UVB rays (the ones that cause sun burns) may not be as strong in the cooler months but those UVA rays (the ones responsible for premature aging of the skin) are always out in the daytime even if it’s cool or cloudy! A blur. How the last month has felt (honestly the A blur. How the last month has felt (honestly the last two months with the kids going back to school in August and our Kenya trip)! These two months have been A LOT. I: ✨signed the lease and incorporated my clinic @scottandcoskin ✨ finalized the formulation, bottle choice, and incorporation of my skincare line @korejskin ✨ closed on our first ever home (should we make an IG for all the home stuff or keep it here)? ✨ handled (as best as I could) all the other work required to continue paying the bills and kid pickup/swim team/gymnastics/momming/wifing It’s finally harvesting season. And harvesting is WORK. While I sowed the seeds over the years in a way that I hoped I’d be able to work on each project one at a time, instead it all came together all at once, all the seeds blossoming at once. It’s made everything feel more hectic and tested my strength and endurance, but it’s all things I’ve prayed for. Harvesting season. Tons of work remains to see these things through but wow just pressing pause for a second to come up for air and say thank you so so much for rooting for us through it all!
